Purchase of Own Shares

LINCAT GROUP PLC ('Lincat')
The Board announces that following completion of the Tender Offer on 30 July 2007, the Company has purchased 1,925,925 Ordinary Shares of 10 pence each at the Tender Offer Price of 675 pence per share for cancellation.
Voting Rights and Capital
In conformity with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, as at 31 July 2007, following the repurchase and cancellation of 1,925,925 Ordinary Shares, the Company's capital now consists of 5,274,507 ordinary shares of 10p each with voting rights, 5,274,507 being the total number of voting rights in the Company.
The above figure (5,274,507) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
